Hello, I'm Pam—a registered nurse with more than 35 years of experience, most of it spent in NICUs across the country, from Southern California to Maryland. I've held many roles over the years, from LVN to Assistant Director, but at the heart of it all has been one constant: my love for caring for NICU babies and the families who fight beside them. For the past 15 years, I’ve shared life, love, and creative work with my coauthor. I’m also a mom of four, who's not just a nurse, but a parent who's walked that same uncertain path. This book is a heartfelt tribute to the quiet strength of NICU families and the special connection between a baby and their primary nurse—a bond that leaves a lasting imprint on many hearts.
